Instantly Review: Is the Cold Email Platform Worth It?

Direct answer

Instantly sells two subscriptions that can be bought separately or bundled: an Outbound plan (unlimited email accounts and warmup, capped by monthly emails and a fixed uploaded-contact limit) and a Data Credits plan (lead finder, enrichment, verification, and AI agents). Whether that split is worth paying for depends on whether you need sending, data, or both.

  • Official Outbound prices from Instantly’s help center, checked November 6, 2026: Growth $47/month (1,000 uploaded contacts + 5,000 emails); Hyper Growth $107/month (25,000 contacts + 125,000 emails, CRM included); Light Speed $358/month (100,000 contacts + 500,000 emails, CRM included, SISR). Free trial: 250 contacts + 1,000 emails.
  • The uploaded-contact limit is fixed across campaigns, not a monthly reset. Credits are a separate SKU, from Nano at $9/month (150 credits) upward.
  • There is no affiliate button on this page. Instantly is discussed factually only; promotion of this vendor is paused.

1. Who Instantly is for — and who should skip it

This review answers whether Instantly’s outbound-plus-credits split is the right product. The calculator lives on Instantly pricing; the pairwise against Smartlead is its own URL.

It may fit when…

  • You want to connect and warm unlimited email accounts under one outbound subscription.
  • Your monthly send volume and your uploaded-contact cap (a fixed workspace limit) match Growth, Hyper Growth, or Light Speed.
  • You are willing to buy data/AI credits as a second line — or a bundle — if you need Lead Finder or the listed AI agents.

Look elsewhere when…

  • You wanted verified prospect volume included inside the same send plan rather than a second credits SKU — compare Instantly vs Smartlead.
  • You only needed a CRM or a mailbox provider, not a cold-email sequencer.
  • You expected one sticker to cover sending, lead data, and inbox-placement tests (those are separate rows in Instantly’s own help center).

UA did not create an Instantly account or send mail. Figures come from Instantly’s official pricing page and help-center plan overview, checked November 6, 2026. There is no affiliate button on this page.

2. What you are actually buying

SKUWhat official materials say it includes
OutboundConnect and warm unlimited email accounts; upload leads; send campaign emails. Caps: monthly emails + a fixed uploaded-contact limit (not a monthly reset).
Data CreditsLead Finder, enrichment, verification, AI reply/sales/recruiting/investment/research/partnership agents, and Website Visitors. Credit burn varies by action.
BundlesHelp center: an Outbound plan plus a Credits plan with a 10% discount, when a bundle is offered. The public pricing page also prints Starter, Scale, and Agency bundle stickers.
Add-ons called out in helpOutbound add-on $87/month (+25,000 contacts and +125,000 emails, on Hyper Growth or Light Speed). Inbox Placement from $47/month. Domains and mailboxes sold separately.

If you buy only Data Credits, help-center wording limits you to uploading 250 leads to campaigns. CRM is included on Hyper Growth and every higher Outbound plan; new workspaces get a 14-day CRM trial.

3. Pricing snapshot

Outbound planMonthly (help center)Annual display (pricing page)Emails / monthUploaded contacts (fixed)
Trial$0$01,000250
Growth$47$37.60 / mo5,0001,000
Hyper Growth$107$85.58 / mo125,00025,000
Light Speed$358$286.30 / mo500,000100,000

Official help center also lists each Outbound add-on at $87/month (+25,000 contacts and +125,000 emails), available on Hyper Growth or Light Speed. Light Speed is the plan that documents SISR (server and IP sharding and rotation).

Credits, from the same help article: Nano $9 / 150 credits; Growth Credits $47 / 1,500 or $77 / 2,000; Supersonic $97 / 5,000 or $147 / 7,500; Hyper Credits from $197 / 10,000 up to $1,700 / 200,000, with a $425 add-on for +50,000 credits on Hyper Credits. Free trial of credits: 1,000 welcome credits.

The public pricing page’s bundle cards (monthly): Starter $94, Scale $194, Agency $555; annual display $85, $175, and $500. Those are outbound-plus-credits packages, not a fourth outbound tier named “Scale.” Do not confuse the Scale bundle with Light Speed.

4. How the two SKUs work

  1. Count emails per month and uploaded contacts separately. Contacts do not reset when the calendar does.
  2. Decide whether you need data/AI. Sending alone is an Outbound plan. Lead Finder and the listed agents are Credits. Buying both à la carte at Growth + Growth Credits is $47 + $47 = $94, which matches the Starter bundle’s monthly sticker before the advertised 10% bundle discount on annual/bundle packaging — read the checkout card rather than assuming $94 always stacks that way.
  3. Upgrade Outbound when volume or the contact cap breaks, not when you run out of lead credits.
  4. Budget mailboxes separately if you buy them from Instantly (help center: domains $15/year; pre-warmed Google $10/month; DFY Google $5/month; Airmail $4/month). Those subscriptions pause after the trial if you have no active Outbound plan.

5. Pitfalls

  • Reading Growth’s $47 as a complete outreach-plus-data stack.
  • Treating 1,000 uploaded contacts as a monthly allowance. It is a fixed cap.
  • Confusing the Scale bundle ($194 monthly on the pricing page) with Hyper Growth ($107) or Light Speed ($358).
  • Buying Light Speed for SISR when Hyper Growth’s 125,000 emails already cover the volume.
  • Comparing $47 to another vendor’s all-in send plan without asking whether leads are a second invoice.

7. FAQ

Is Instantly worth it?

It can be, if you need unlimited connected mailboxes and warmup and you understand that lead data is a second meter. It is the wrong default if you expected one sticker to include a lead database. Official Outbound entry is Growth at $47/month, checked November 6, 2026.

Does Instantly include a lead database?

Lead Finder and related data features sit on the Data Credits plan, not on Outbound alone. Help center: credits-only accounts are limited to 250 campaign uploads.

Do uploaded contacts reset each month?

No. Official help: the uploaded-contact limit is fixed across all campaigns, regardless of campaign status.

Do you earn a commission on Instantly?

Not at the time this page was written. Promotion of this vendor is paused. A hidden placeholder sits in the HTML for later.
